Jenn reached out to my husband and I about Doula services when we announced our pregnancy. At first I was a little unsure because I hadn’t heard much about doula’s and what I did had seemed a little wonky and not for me. Being a first time mom and newly pregnant I was skeptical but open.

Jenn eased all of my concerns and answered all my questions about doula’s and how they can be beneficial for pregnancy, labour, delivery, and postpartum. My husband and I were tremendously blessed by her wealth of knowledge, her encouragement, and her expertise during every faze of this new experience. Whenever we had a question or concern, Jenn was right there with us to either answer or look for the answer on our behalf.

My labour story is intense and long! But to make it short, I had a 37-hour labour, which didn’t go according to my birth plan at all! It was exhausting, painful, and discouraging all wrapped into one, to say the least. But Jenn was with me every step of the way. She was a great support for my husband who was very nervous for the entire process. She helped me without me even needing to ask and encouraged my husband to assist me in ways he was unsure of. Jenn went over and above for us and for that I am beyond grateful!

I would recommend Jenn to anyone that is pregnant whether for your first time or your 10th time! She gave my husband and I the confidence and the tools we needed to get through our long and crazy delivery of our beautiful son! I honestly don’t know if I could have done it without her! Choosing Jenn to be your doula will be one of the best decisions you will make for yourself and your family!
